So glad Naruhina was a NaruNO
After reading Chapter 616, it’s extremely obvious that the hand holding we witnessed at the end of chapter 615 between Naruto and Hinata was all part of his plan to transfer chakra to her AND other people.
We just didn’t get to see that until now. So relieved.
It’s not that I don’t like Hinata, but it’s just that the entire manga and anime places so much focus on Naruto and Sakura that one can’t help but root for them.
In all honesty, I’m sure if it was the other way around…you know, Hinata being in Team 7 and treated as the main heroine and protagonist’s love interest, I would be rooting for them.
But it’s not. I’m sorry, but it’s not. Naruto and Sakura. It’s pretty much a done deal. It’s in every great love story, the guy doesn’t get the girl until the very end.
People argue that Sakura can’t and won’t just suddenly drop her feelings for Sasuke. Yeah well, the same can be said about Naruto dropping his feelings for Sakura. So there goes that.
Naruto will achieve what Jiraiya could not. He will save his friend Sasuke and get his true love, Sakura. It’s the job of a student to surpass and fulfill what his master could not, in his own way.
So in the end…I’m glad Naruhina fans got a nice moment between platonic childhood friends. ‘But deep down, I think we all know the truth:
